Information SoleGauge processes
When a merchant installs SoleGauge, the app processes the shop domain, installation and authentication information supplied by Shopify, app configuration, size-chart rules, and assigned product identifiers and titles. This information is needed to operate and secure the app.
Shopper information
The storefront recommendation runs in the shopper's browser from data published to the product. SoleGauge does not receive or store the shopper's foot measurement, identity, customer profile, or order information as part of the core recommendation flow.
How information is used
- Authenticate the merchant and maintain the installation.
- Create, assign, publish, and update size recommendations.
- Protect the service and diagnose operational problems.
- Respond to support and legal requests.
Service providers and transfers
SoleGauge relies on Shopify for the commerce platform, Supabase for its application database, and Vercel for application hosting. These providers process information only to deliver their services and may operate in countries other than the merchant's own.
Retention and deletion
Merchant configuration is retained while the app is installed and as reasonably necessary for security, support, and legal obligations. Shopify privacy webhooks are used to process applicable access and deletion requests. Merchants can also contact SoleGauge directly to ask about access, correction, or deletion.
Security
SoleGauge limits data to what the product needs, separates merchant data by shop, and uses encrypted connections and access controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but suspected incidents are investigated and handled promptly.
